Health & Fitness Coach.

Boy Mom. Wife. Motivator. Coffee Addict.

Runner. Triathlete.

Recovering Perfectionist.

I am here to empower women in their health and fitness journey.

I've struggled with body image for as long as I can remember. I was a little 'chubby' growing up, very shy and I LOVED food. I was heavier than my peers and VERY aware of it. My self-confidence held me back from trying new things because I was afraid of making a mistake or not being perfect (story of my life). I grew up in and active family and tried a lot of activities including gymnastics, volleyball, track and softball, but was always mediocre in my eyes.

When I was 13 I discovered soccer and finally found something that began to build my confidence and brought me joy. Around that same age I started tagging along with my mom to our local YMCA to some group fitness classes or to explore the weight machines in the circuit.  Exercise gave me strength, not only physically, but mentally, even though at the time I didn't really understand it.  Exercise gave me the gift of challenging myself to try hard things and has been a pillar of my life since a young age.

This love of exercise and how the human body works sparked an interest that led me to pursue my degree in Exercise and Health Physiology and my certifications to work with special populations, injuries and chronic disease.

When I found out I was pregnant with my first son I was bound and determined to have a healthy, active pregnancy only to quickly discover that there wasn't a lot of information on how to do this safely, especially as an experienced fitness professional.  This drove my desire to seek more education in this area so that I could safely maintain my fitness through my own pregnancy, but also to empower other women to be active throughout their pregnancies.

This passion had poured over into my postpartum experience as I realized that pregnancy is a very short time compared to a lifetime with our children. I've navigated two bouts of postpartum depression, urinary incontinence, body image challenges, post-weaning depression and pelvic organ prolapse with exercise being a pillar of my recovery.

I am here to empower other women in their prenatal and postpartum health and fitness journey through all of the ups and downs of motherhood. Because momma, you matter, and your health matters. I'm here for you.
